Some tunes for you to dance to at your Indian Wedding
Important Tips:
Whether you choose a Band, DJ, or Ceremony Musician, music is an essential part of your Indian Wedding, so be sure to plan it right..
* One month before your wedding date you should have a meeting with your musician(s) to confirm all ceremony music details. Most times an Indian Wedding ceremony has four parts when music should be playing.
* Consider entertainment within your price range.
* You can hire: Different genres of singers (you have specialists in retro, current numbers, ghazals, International numbers, etc) the Bands, DJs or Traditional Performers. Choose according to the event.
* Hire only professionals in wedding planning with talent, references and years of experience in the Indian Wedding Industry.
* To add to the festive mood and masti of your Indian wedding function the music should be balanced by including key elements of your wedding. These include your traditions, ethnicity and the guests you have invited.
* Conduct a personal interview with the band leader or DJ. Make sure they are cooperative, helpful and sensitive to your needs, polite and specialise in weddings. They should ideally arrive at least an hour before the event. Make sure you have checked him play at someone else's wedding or view a videotape of the DJ at work.
* The type of music you have at your wedding will depend on where you are having your ceremony. Some religious ceremony locations do not allow you to bring in your own musician or music for the ceremony. Always check before you book your musician.

Along with a prefect venue and a beautiful mandap, it's the music that will create the atmosphere on the big day.

So plan right to make your wedding day entertaining and memorable.
