Jimmy not only gets no respect, he also gets no airplay! But somehow lovers of good music find their way to his concerts and his CDS; and come away with an appreciation of this fine singer who just can't seem to get a break. Way back in the Twentieth Century (around 1999) John Travolta was signed to play Jimmy in the movie version of his life story (Making the Wise Guys Weep), but as of January 2004, the movie has never even made it to scripting.
